How far in advance should I book my photography session?

We recommend booking 4 to 8 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. Spring and fall fill up quickly, so earlier is always better. Contact us to check current availability.

What should my family wear for our photo session?

We recommend coordinating colors rather than matching exactly. Neutral tones and earth tones photograph beautifully. Avoid busy patterns and bright logos. After booking, every client receives our full style guide to take the guesswork out of the process.

How long does a session take and when will I receive my photos?

Most portrait and family sessions run 60 to 90 minutes. You will receive your fully edited gallery within 2 to 3 weeks of your session date via an online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.

Do you shoot in a studio or on location?

His Image Photography is primarily location-based. We shoot in beautiful outdoor settings throughout Western NC and Upstate SC including mountain backdrops, golden fields, and wooded paths.

What happens if it rains on the day of our session?

If conditions are truly unfavorable we will reschedule at no extra charge. Light overcast days actually produce beautiful even light for portraits, so do not worry if the sky is not perfectly clear.
